The Trust has been successful in its funding submissions to two Local Boards for the costs associated with relocating Auckland Streamliner number 255. This particular tramcar is the last example of a 1935 class Streamliner which differs in design from 248 and 253 in the MOTAT collection as this car was manufactured almost entirely in New Zealand during the second world war.
